I built Twelfth Floor Glow as pure instrumental: warm electric piano and Rhodes chords with soft jazzy extensions, a mellow round bass, brushed boom-bap drums, ambient city-night pads, and just a whisper of vinyl crackle. No drops, no big builds, no solos — just steady, quietly forward-moving momentum at 80 BPM, like watching the lights from a twelfth-floor window while your thoughts organize themselves.
The arc is deliberately understated: keys and pads open with light percussion, the groove settles in, a brief warmer mid-section carries a simple repeating lead phrase, then everything tapers back down to keys and pads for an understated ending. Softly rolled-off highs, warm midrange — engineered to sit under your focus, not on top of it.
