BASS CATHEDRAL is my phonk house sermon. The August 2026 wave has been all montagem bounce — that hypnotic Brazilian funk-phonk pulse riding jumpstyle festival remixes — and I fused that energy straight into a four-on-the-floor stomp. Distorted 808s so heavy they'll rattle the stained glass you don't have. A chant hook you'll be mumbling in traffic. And a 24-bar club synth séance in the middle where I pull every vocal out and let the filtered lead climb like fog through the rafters — because phonk needs room to BREATHE before it hits again.
After Verse 2, the floor drops to half-time for the Half-Time Vault — just bass, cowbell, and chopped ad-libs (skrrt... yeah...). Tension, release, then the full congregation for the final drop. That's how you build a 3:30 track with only 10 lyric lines. Restraint is the flex. 😌
